ENAV OFFSHORE SCORES TWO IMPORTANT MILESTONES

Tampico, Mexico October 2020

October the 8th, 2020. Our second vessel the M/V ENAV SAGUARO has changed flag from Marshall Islands to Mexican Flag, even under very special circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic another two important milestones for E-NAV Offshore where achieved as we re-flagged  the second vessel of our fleet the M/V ENAV SAGUARO in the Port of Tampico, Mexico. The M/V ENAV SAGUARO is a MMC-887CD Plataform Supply Vessel (PSV) built by Fujian Mawei Shipyards in Mawei province of Fujian, China. The ENAV SAGUARO is the second of a series of three MMC-887CD  that E-NAV Offshore acquired  from the same shipyard with some additional perks as a higher accommodation of up to 52 beds and upgraded reference systems.

As COVID-19 pandemic is on going a very small and discrete flagging ceremony took place in the Port of Tampico with two of E-NAV OFFSHORE´s Founding Partners and Senior Managers  Diego A Aguilar and Juan Carlos Ganem along with Port Master,  Port Administration and Tampico City officials and other E-NAV Offshore management staff. The ceremony took place in the Briseño shore base facility where Diego A Aguilar was in charge of lowering the Marshall Island flag, while Juan Carlos Ganem was in charge of lifting the Mexican flag, the Port Master of Tampico gave a small speech where he expressed the happiness of the Mexican Authorities have on supporting a Mexican company like E-NAV Offshore  whom is investing in the OSV space in such challenging times and flagging vessels in Mexico, Juan Carlos Ganem thanked the authorities all the help received to achieve this important milestone in such a short period as the flag state authorities have not been working in full due to Covid 19.

Mr. Diego A Aguilar, Vice President  & Founding Partner commented, we are very happy to have our second vessel Mexican Flagged in such challenging times,  the Port of Tampico has a very special meaning for myself as my great grandfather started his shipping operation in Tampico in the late 1800´s as a fifth generation in the industry is a honor to come back to your roots and having our first Mexican vessel registered in Tampico is a very symbolic milestone.

The second milestone is that the M/V ENAV SAGUARO has passed a OVID inspection requested by a IOC and has entered into short term contract with a services company performing materials and supplies offshore transportation to deep water rigs, just immediately after the flagging process was finished, we expect that she will be working offshore Tampico in the upcoming years.
